My father is Rolando Calderin and hsi father's family is from Cabaiguan. My grandfather's name was Rolando Antonio Calderin and he married a Concepcion Solano. My grandfather's brothers were all pharmacist from what I understand that studied here in the states. Domingo was one of his brothers names. I too have been told that there is a link to our family and the Canary Islands. I have also heard stories of 3 brothers who migrated from there; 2 went to Cuba and 1 went to Puerto Rico. Any info or thoughts you might have I would appreciate. Thank You!
