The Ricardo Moran my mother met in Cojimar in 1931 would be almost 100 years old now. He was just a young man then. There's a possibility that the Ricardo Moran you are going to see is the son of the one I mentioned. I wonder. I have been looking for the engagement and marriage announcements from "Diario de la Marina" in 1934 (I think) , but since we haven't unpacked all our boxes from moving, it's hard. However, it was quite an outstanding social event, with a picture of the bride-to-be - in the engagement announcement - that was full-length, taking up almost a quarter page of the Society section!
