There is a strong and remarkable coincidence in this facts with the information I have regarding Rubalcaba familiy in Santiago de Cuba. At the same time I'm suspecting that if they are the same persons there might be a mistake in relation with the surname O'Reilly. 1.- María Josefa Muñoz Rubalcaba was born february 8, 1821 in Santiago de Cuba. Baptized the 21 th of the same month and year as a daughter of Rafael Muñoz Rosales born in Málaga, Spain and María Asunción Rubalcaba Caballero from Santiago de Cuba Paternal grandparents: Juan Muñoz y María Josefa Rosales from Málaga Maternal grandparents: Alejo Tirso Rubalcaba y Sánchez de Carmona y María Bárbara Caballero Hechavarría from Santiago de Cuba. María Josefa Muñoz Rubalcaba was married to Luciano Jorge Rodríguez y Correoso-Catalán on November 29, 1842 in Santiago de Cuba. Descendants were RODRIGUEZ MUÑOZ. I haven´t searched for María Asunción Rubalcaba y Caballero's baptismal record, but instead can give you another one from a sister named María de la Concepción de Jesús This one was born on December 7, 1792 in Santiago de Cuba. Baptized the 21 th of December as a Daughter if Alejo Tirso Rubalcaba y Sánchez de Carmona and María Bárbara Caballero Hechavarría. Paternal grandaughter of Nicolás de Rubalcaba y Betancourt and Mariana Sánchez de Carmona y Caballero Maternal Grandaughter of Antonio Caballero Sánchez and Rosa Hechavarría Regüeiferos As you stated that María Asunción Rubalcaba (your ancestor) was born about 1804, she could be the sister of María Concepción, born in 1792. I hope you can check these facts and lead yourself to a conclusion.
