Dawn; I would suggest that you begin your search closer to home and begin with the birth certificate of the decease which should indicate parents and places of birth and work your way back. "...looking for all the Alfonso that lived in Cuba and Spain..." is not going to be an easy task. Spain's Telefonica shows 11,163 Alfonsos in Spain, Cubatel shows over 1,175 listings all over the Island, La Habana's 1958 telephone directory shows approximately 200 Alfonsos listed, and over 200 listed in Florida on Yahoo's people search. Good luck, but your best bet is to interview as many close family members as possible. Jorge
