    2. Dear Ed Elizondo While searching for the last name Alvarez, I noticed that this surname appears on the list starting both with the English letter A and with the Spanish version Á. I'd just like to point out that the system would not accept a search with the Spanish version Á in the search box atop the column. It therefore does not list the surnames staring with the Spanish version if you use the English version in the search box.. As a test, I attempted to perform another search with other Spanish characters and found that the system would not accept them in the search box atop the column. I think it would be a good idea to only post the surnames beginning only with English letters and correct any that begin with the Spanish version. Perhaps you could pass this along to the persons transcribing the names onto the list along with my deepest appreciation for what they are doing. Thank You Sincerely Andres Echazabal ( Descendent of Luis Areces Gonzalez from Llamero, Candamo, Asturias who emigrated to Cuba sometime between 1860-1868. I'll be looking out for him.)
