I am looking for information on the following famies: the Cabrerizo, Alvarez and Brito, in Guane, Pinar de Rio. Historian Victor Hilario Ramos says the first inhabitants of the town of Guane were brought there from the Canary Islands by the Captains Nicolas Noble and Arcadio Linares. These islenos were given land that belonged to the Capt. Pedro Alvarez Oñate.
