Louis VIALET was from Cuba, and he was the spouse (husband?) of Catalina Monterra. Louis VIALET and Catalina MONTERRA had a son named ALFREDO VIALET born 1876 in Havana, Cuba. He was a violinist in the Harlem Symphony of New York and was also a violin instructor. Alfredo VIALET was married twice: His first marriage was to MERCEDES INEZ TERRY DE VIALET who was born in Florida about 1878 (but lived in Cuba, Canada and New York). Mercedes was the daughter of John Terry and Madaline Bartlett. Alfredo later married Minna Boykins "Millie." They had no children. I have gathered quite a bit more info on this family, with the help of some of Alfredo's great grandchildren and Ancestry.com. What I am searching for is any other relatives of VIALET from Cuba, or anyone who knows more about the VIALET family that might still be living in Cuba today. I am told that the Cuban VIALET are relatives of the VIALET in Haiti and the Dominican Republic.
