The brother, Mauricio, was a lawyer, and a fiscal during the early years of the Cuban republic. He became a member of the Tribunal Supremo, and if i am not confused, its president at one point. I don't remember if he had children. Maria married young to Enrique Quinones Rojas, a coronel in the Cuban army. They lived in Havana for the most part. Enrique died many years ago, i don't remember if before 1959. Maria left for US a few years later. We visited her a few times here. We also visited her two daughters, Maria and Esther. Maria was the mother of Jose Antonio Villamil, an economist. He was undersecretary of Commerce in a previous administration. Juan
