My fifth maternal grandfather was Juan Hermenegildo Hernandez Perez de Prado he was born in Remedios c1772. His parents were Miguel Hernandez from Remedios and Antonia Perez de Prado b c1752 from Santa Clara. You are correct, a branch of the Perez de Prado from Remedios was one of the 16 families that founded Santa Clara c1689. I have information on the Perez de Prado from Remedios but I must first find my link in Santa Clara...could our respective relatives come from the same branch?
