Hi my mother was also born in Guane in 1911. She already passed away, but I went several tines to Pinar in the late 1950's. We are linked to the Fajardo family and the Diaz family. Most of the Fajardo's passed away. The last one that I know Enrique Fajardo who lived in Chicago for many years. He was a nurse for many years, before Castro in Santiago de Cuba also her sister Zoraida Fajardo. I really do not know how to contact any of these persons if there is anyone living. These people if living are in their 80s. About the Diaz family which I am also related but very distant, there are many of them in Hialeah, Florida I do not know their adress but you can do some research under Maria Diaz, also an elderly person.
