McMahon, who was born on May 8, 1879 in Miltown Malbay, County Clare, Ireland. He immigrated to the United States in 1901. He married 1st. Delia Neylon and 2nd. Margaret Maroney. He lived in Lowell, Massachusetts in the USA. until 1922, where he owned his own home and a bakery. In 1922, he sold everything, and it is said that he may have moved to Cuba. James F. McMahon was son of Daniel McMahon and Catherine Kelley and he had brothers named Daniel ( b.c. 1889/90 ) and Michael McMahon ( b.c. 1883 ). He was a baker most of his life. He may also have had family connections to New York City. The children of James F. McMahon were: James J., John T., Mary E., Margaret E., and Joseph McMahon. Most likely, if he did indeed go to Cuba, he left his children behind. Can any record of James F. McMahon be found in Cuba after 1922? Any information at all would be very much appreciated.
