He apparently fathered a daughter, Mary Jane Vaughan, who was born in Cuba in 1823. Daniel Vaughan later moved to Bermuda, as did his daughter, who married a Bermudian and died in 1914. Daniel Vaughan died in Hamilton Bermuda in 1855. He introduced a new plant used in silk worm farming, so I'm thinking he was probably from the south.
