I am trying to trace Cuban records for my great grandaunt, Sr Vincent Herlihy. She was a nun in the French order Incarnate Word of the Blessed Sacrament, and she and other members of her order arrived in Cienfuegos, from Mexico, about 1912. My understanding is that the order subsequently had several schools in the Cienfuegos region. Sr Vincent died and was buried in Cienfuegos in 1921. Specifically I am interested in getting (if possible!) a copy of her death certificate, and also information about the whereabouts of her grave. Naturally any information about her time in Cuba is of interest, and any advice about how I should proceed with my investigations would be very welcome. Fíona Tipple --
