Are there Rodriguez Capote's in your family tree? If so, which generation? As for me, I am very curious about the Vicente who you mention, but I'm not sure he's my great great great grandfather. What I do know is that mine married Margarita de la Cruz (and I believe both were from Havana and before that, I don't know). What I also know, is that they had my great great grandfather Alejandro Ignacio Rodriguez Capote de la Cruz in February 1777. The Vicente in the records that you mentioned, seems a bit too young to have had Alejandro in 1777. I also know that after Havana, Alejandro was in Cardenas most of the time. On a different note, is that Cuban Club still in existence? I joined it, but now I never receive e-mails anymore. Thank you again and I look forward to hearing from you.
