I am Eva's granddaughter. Edna was my Godmother. Emma was Tia Emma to me. Eva died in Fort Lauderdale, Florida I think in August, 2000. Edna lived in Costa Rica since I can remember. I lost contact with her decades ago though Eva went to stay with her for awhile in the '90s. Emma died several years ago in California. I am still in contact with one of her step daughters, Pam. Thank you so much for the valuable family information! As you can see, I could never get past Eva's father. If this is any help, I believe Carlos was married to Maria Peralto. I believe he had two wives. I'm not sure if M. Peralta is the 1st or 2nd wife. After Carlos remarried, he had three sons that I knew as Firpo, Tuni and Tingo. Not sure who is who, but their children are Luis Viada (living in NJ, I think), his sister Maria Elena who may be livng in Virginia with her parents. Their father's real name is also Luis Viada. I can't remember if he was known is Tingo or Firpo. There is another outpost of Viadas in Puerto Rico. I believe this is Tuni's clan. He died in the '70s or early '80s.
