This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Author: slc4556 Surnames: Alvarez Ramos Classification: queries Message Board URL: http://boards.rootsweb.com/localities.caribbean.cuba.general/10886/mb.ashx Message Board Post: Emma Crucita Alvarez Ramos was born in Cuba. She married a US Air Force pilot in Cuba and came to the US in the 50's. I am trying to find her family. Her father left her or died when she was young and was raised by her grandparents. She had a sister and possibly a brother. Her family owned a plantation and she's given me the impression they were pretty well off/financially secure. She lost contact with the family when she came to the US. She told me she had to have all of her family info in order to become a citizen and gave it to "them" when she came over. Can anyone point me a direction, or two ;o), to help me find information about my Cuban family? Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list.
