I don't know how much information I'll be able to get you, but we have a connection. My maternal Grandmother (Mercedes Navarro-Bauza) has and had relations with the last name Lafita. I had the occasion to visit Cuba with my mother in 1999 and we visited with cousins of hers (my moms) with the last name Lafita. They are two spinster sisters who live in Holguin. I know there is a connection because I did a pretty extensive family tree on my Navarro relatives and they are all originally from Baracoa. I hope you get this message.
