There are or were Montalban in Argentina and in Mexico...In Puerto Rico all the Montalbans are related and in different towns. for the longest time I thought all of them were from the town of Comerio and not so long ago, I discovered that they are in different towns in the northwest part of the island. I found out because I called a Church and when I mentioned the Montalban, the lady told me she she knew an Avelino Montalban, and that happens to be my grandfather's name.
