My Grandparents Paternal side :circa early 1900's Luis Lorenzo Serrano Mir married Balbina Serrano Serrano they had twelve children Luis Felipe I , Luis Felipe II , Ricardo Enrique , Jorge Enrique ,Carlos Manuel ,Hector Ramon, Nester Jonas Delio Emmanuel (my father) Olga Esther, Maria Angela, Ana Luordes and Carisa Eneidz My Paternal grandmother Balbina Serrano was born March 31 ,1891 Her parents : Ricardo Serrano de la Vega (born in Puerto Padre) and Inez Figueredo ( born in Bayamo and was first cousin to Perucho Figueredo that wrote the Cuban national Anthem. Balbina Serrano had three siblings : Lorenzo Serrano Figueredo,Rafael Serrano Figueredo,and Mariana Serrano Figueredo. Inez Figueredo also had a sister named Ilsmada Amalia Figueredo helped raised Balbina as a child because Balbina mother Inez (died) early in her life. Balbina's siblings: (Lorenzo) married Chencha Gonzalez they had seven children : Georgina,Lorenzo jr. ,Rafael,Carlos,Julia,Mario and Guillermo. (Rafael) married Vidalina Carmona and they had six children Amalia,Aurora,Chelo,Rafael jr,Chichinto,Yolanda and Ines.
