Spain PINA met his wife,Rose LAMY from Louisiana & then settled in Cuba. They had 3 children --Lola, Ramon & Frederico. Son, Ramon, settled in New York City in the 1870s. Widow Rose, in Cuba, remarried Charles BOOTH & had 2 more children-- Edward & Emilia. Edward married Cecilia BALARICH & had 7 children. I only know of daughter Sara BOOTH. The BOOTHs ran a sugar plantation outside of Habana. I have 2 letters Sara BOOTH wrote to an ancestor giving this family history. In the books "Historia de Familias Cubanas" by Santa Cruz y Mallen, Vol IV, pg 95: Doña Carmen Betancourt y de la Torre married to don Carlos V. Booth y Baldrich. Baldrich is probably the correct spelling of that surname. Also you may want to look at Google books - full view books. I searched Booth Cuba and Booth y Baldrich and some entries came up. One of them was a Jorge Booth y Baldrich.
