My name is Adriana Granados Robles, I live in Costa Rica and my grandfather is Edgar Robles Viada, who is Edna Viada's youngest son. I knew Edna, she was my greatgrandmother, we called her Abuela Chica, she was the youngest sister among the 3, Eva, Emma and her. I also knew Tía Eva (thatŽs how we called her), she used to visit us frequently during the late 80's and the 90Žs. We were very close to Tía Eva, she used to live with Pam, who we also know...but we don't keep in touch...Actually Tía Eva gave me a teddy bear as a present once and she told me that it belonged to her daughter Martha, who had passed away when she was younger. I was about 8 or 9 yrs old...I'm 29 now. And I still keep that teddy bear :) So it's your mother's teddy bear...I suppose...I also know that she had a son, called Jim I think...but we never met him... My family is really close to our family in Venezuela, it's Tío Tuni's (Eduardo Viada)family actually. Tío Tuni passed away about 10 or 13 yrs ago..but my mother, aunt and uncles are very close to his daughters and son, they call themselves as cousins, but actually Tío Tuni is my grandfather's uncle...but they were about the same age, so they were raised as brothers, because Tio Tuni went to live with Abuela Chica (Edna) when he was little. Actually one of Tío Tuni's daughters lives here in Costa Rica as well, Sandra Viada, her mother (Tío Tuni's widow) is called Susana (I don't recall her last name, because we call her Tía Susana). I found this thread, because I'm trying to find Edna Viada's and Eva Viada's birth certificates...me and all my family are planning a trip to Cuba and we want to see if we can find where they used to live or where were they born. It's nice to see that there's more family out there!!! I was impressed when I read all the names of Abuela Chica's family members!
