I stumbled upon your conversation about Juan Lorente de la Rosa. I have just recently begun doing research on my family, and my father told me about this ancestor of ours. He is my great great great grandfather (that's a lot of greats!). I'm hoping to find out more information on that side of my family since there are not many cuban records on ancestry.com. Have y'all come up with anything? My great grandmother apparently knew a lot of this histoy and told my father before she died. Hopefully I will be able to get more information from him.
