I am very interested in talking more to you or your grandma about him. My dad didn't tell me he was against American intervention but I read in a history book I found online that there were two camps after the war (I forget what they called them), one that wanted complete independence including from America and one that welcomed America (kind of like in Iraq)... from what I read I did get the impression he was in the first camp.
