Dr. Manuel Antón was Cuba's top ophthalmologist, and was recognized at the international level as being a true authority in that field of medicine. He married a lady from Santa Clara who was one of my mother's best friends.  I have not kept up with his son, who is a psychiatrist, and has his office in Atlanta.  I never inquired about Dr. Anton's place of birth.   Oswaldo F.
