At the end of his life he was well known and the patriarch of an extended family, which included his niece, Elena Freyre de Andrade, daughter of Juan and Margot (probably Margarita Veulens y Ruenes). Do not know if "Tito" was related to Elena on the paternal or maternal side. He died in Havana in April,1954, and was probably in his 90s. Our family is connected through his wife Emma McCormack, of New York, who died in late 1945 in Havana. They had no children, and it was probably a second marriage for him. Internet research shows the prominence of the Freyre de Andrade family, but we cannot tell which one would correspond to Tito. Or perhaps he belongs to the Vuelens y Ruenes family.
