Rafael: At the Cuban Heritage Collection at the Otto Richter Library of the University of Miami they have a collection that dates from 1832 through 1960. Some of the documents are digitalized but not sure which. Their web site is: www.library.miami.edu/umcuban/cuban.html Good luck! Hello Again, In the Book from 1902 called Indece Del Ejercito Liberador De Cuba, there is a reference when you follow your ancestors name to end of the right hand side. Its states Libro-Folio-Numero and gives numbers under those columns. What does that mean exactly and if it is a separate source, does anyone know the name of the source and how to view it? Thank you in advance. Rafael Galvez
Hello, My investigation and Family interviews has confirmed that I am the great grandson of Filiberto Gomez. He was a Sergeant in the Mambi army. The record number is 06663 according to the search engine. His corps ID is 2-HQ. My questions are as follows if anyone can help me. Is the information on the search engine all thats available or does it expand in the record? If there is more in the record, How do i get copies of the record? His mother's name is listed but no last name. Would that information be somewhere else? Also On the passenger database a Ricardo Galvez is listed. Record number C3858-073. It states that he and his wife came to Habana. How do I get a copy of this record and would it list his wifes name? I believe he is my other great grandfather. Thank you for your assistance.

She married Manuel Morera Sanchez and they emigrated to the US in 1907. I find the death record of Manuel, but nothing of Maria except for the passenger list from the ship she arrived from. Maybe a relative around that might know the family and if any relatives are still living in Cuba. Hoping to find her birth certificate and death certificate. Any help is appreciated.
