I bought "Jamaica under the Spaniards",by Frank Cundall,"Spanish Jamaica" by Francisco Morales. I borrowed "Jewish Pirates of the Caribbean" by Edward Kritzler and "The Buccaneer King" by Dudley Pope. Francisco de Leyba Ysassi moved to Mexico and died in 1679. His son Alonso de leyba married in Mexico City and moved to Durango Mexico.His sons Francisco and Marcos moved to Chihuahua.I am trying to prove Barbara Francisca Leyba is from this same Family. Your family name has come up in some of the books I have .Please let me know if you heard of mine. Francisco Leyba Ysassi was married to Lorenza Ysassi, Arnoldo Ysassi sister.
