Hello everyone! I have being pretty busy working on my two family websites. Thank you for all the suggestions sent to me by some of you to get information on my Valderrama ancestors from Ecija. I have done some progress and I am about to launch a search for those elusive ancestors with someone there. Everyday I like genealogy more and more. La primera , el 26 de julio de 1760 con doña Ana Agustina Arteaga y Agramonte y la segunda vez se casó con Juana de la Cruz............y efectivamente tuvieron 5 hijos, dos hembras y 3 varones: Micaela, Juana de la Cruz, a Gaspar, a Francisco y a Jacinto Agramonte y Betancourt. Ese Gaspar Agramonte y Betancourt se casó con Maria Isabel Aróstegui y Agüero , hija de Don Martin Esteban Arostegui y Larrea ( con un monton de titulos entre ellos el de Gobernador y Capitan de Guerra de la villa de Pto. Principe, etc. etc.) y de Doña Angela Agüero y Betancourt y tuvieron dos hijos: a Angela y a Jacinto Francisco Agramonte y Arostegui . En la pagina 87 de los Betancourt hay otro Gaspar Betancourt y Agramonte, que se casó con Luisa Piña y Porro..pero los datos no van con tu información. His brother is Manuel Cuervo Jr., his sisters are Celeste Cuervo (now Russel), and Cecilia Cuervo (now Santiago). Their father was Manuel Cuervo from Cuba who moved to Key West, Florida, USA. (not sure exactly when). I have lived in Key West all of my life as did my father and his siblings. We are the only Cuervo family here. The Ricardo Moran my mother met in Cojimar in 1931 would be almost 100 years old now. He was just a young man then. There's a possibility that the Ricardo Moran you are going to see is the son of the one I mentioned. I wonder. I have been looking for the engagement and marriage announcements from "Diario de la Marina" in 1934 (I think) , but since we haven't unpacked all our boxes from moving, it's hard. However, it was quite an outstanding social event, with a picture of the bride-to-be - in the engagement announcement - that was full-length, taking up almost a quarter page of the Society section! A: had Ernesto Leyva Ballester (1902) one of many children in Antilla, Cuba B: had Rafaela Leyva Diaz (1913) one of 4 children in Antilla, Cuba Ernesto and Rafaela married each other and had 18 children In the mambi database appears "Ballester" as having fought in the war. not sure if from the same family In my fathers side I have: A: Justo Espiau (born in Regla, Havana) married Gertrudis Osuma (born in Regla, Havana) (no idea of their maternal last names) One of their children was Luis Espiau Osuma (circa 1910's in Regla, Havana) B: Pedro Noa married Francisca Garriga (no idea of their maternal last names) Whom had Barbara Noa Garriga (circa 1919 in Regla, Havana) Barbara and Luis had 4 children whom all are of last names Espiau Noa.
