My mother told me that Saturnino Lora is a part of our family. My grandmother is Nora Costelo. She left cuba in the 1950s. Her parents were Francisco Costelo and Isabel Moya. I believe Isabel's parents were Juan Moya and Isabel Lora. I was wondering if Saturnino was possibly Isabel's brother? My daughter-in-law's great-great-grandmother, Blanca Catalina TENNANT, was born in Havana Cuba, circa 1845, the daughter of Stephen Cattley TENNANT, businessman, and Juana Camilla TENNANT nee DALCOUR. It is thought that she had two sisters - Enriguita and Lescadia. In the 1861 census of Liverpool, England, Blanca was living with her uncle and a Stephen Joseph TENNANT, also born in Havana, Cuba, but circa 1844. Stephen is stated as a nephew of Blanca's uncle, so that I have assumed Stephen and Blanca were brother and sister. This may not be true. Stephen Cattley TENNANT died in Cuba in an accident and his wife, Juana Camilla TENNANT nee DALCOUR, remarried Julian FONTANA, a Swiss pianist and friend of Chopin - this may have taken place in Cuba or France or, lets face it, anywhere else in the world. Juana's parents are said to be French who went to USA and then Cuba. Does anyone have any clues about this family? By the way - I have assumed Enriguita and Lescadia are female names. Is this so? My knowledge of Spanish names is zilch. I also wonder why the DALCOURS called their daughter Juana Camilla if they were French as it sounds so Spanish. I would be very grateful for any help. He was fighting Che Quevara in Santa Clara. He doesn't know anything about the family, but does know about the military career somewhat. He said that Peraza came into Santa Clara under fire to congratulate the regiment for stopping Castro in Santa Clara before Batista left Cuba, preventing him from going on the Havana. Eluterio was a military man of much valor.
