She remembers that Isabel Rubio was a famous person before her time and that the town of Mendoza real name is Isabel Rubio in honor of her. She also remembers that her mother's docotor was Dr. Rubio, who was either Isabel Rubio's son or grandson. She also thinks that a family with the last name Fajardo, particulary Alberto Fajardo who are famous musicians, would know more as they always lived in Guane. Right now, she says that these same Fajardo, one lives in Miami, Florida and one in New Jersey. My grandmother hopes that this little bit of info will assist you, even in a small way. I am researching Tomas REYES and Blanca GUTIERREZ, parents of Emigdio, Thomas, Hector and Charles REYES.
