Serafin Camejo y Quinones. I was told that he died in the War for Independence in 1895. The information I had was that he was born in Candalaria Cuba, but I don't have a date. My Grandfather was born in 1888, so assuming his father was 20 or thereabouts, it would put Serafin's birth sometime in the 1860s. In the books "Historia de Familias Cubanas" by Santa Cruz y Mallen, Vol IV, pg 95: Doña Carmen Betancourt y de la Torre married to don Carlos V. Booth y Baldrich. Baldrich is probably the correct spelling of that surname. Also you may want to look at Google books - full view books. I searched Booth Cuba and Booth y Baldrich and some entries came up. One of them was a Jorge Booth y Baldrich.
