I am Eva's granddaughter. Edna was my Godmother. Emma was Tia Emma to me. Eva died in Fort Lauderdale, Florida I think in August, 2000. Edna lived in Costa Rica since I can remember. I lost contact with her decades ago though Eva went to stay with her for awhile in the '90s. Emma died several years ago in California. I am still in contact with one of her step daughters, Pam. Thank you so much for the valuable family information! As you can see, I could never get past Eva's father. If this is any help, I believe Carlos was married to Maria Peralto. I believe he had two wives. I'm not sure if M. Peralta is the 1st or 2nd wife. After Carlos remarried, he had three sons that I knew as Firpo, Tuni and Tingo. Not sure who is who, but their children are Luis Viada (living in NJ, I think), his sister Maria Elena who may be livng in Virginia with her parents. Their father's real name is also Luis Viada. I can't remember if he was known is Tingo or Firpo. There is another outpost of Viadas in Puerto Rico. I believe this is Tuni's clan. He died in the '70s or early '80s. No puedo asegurarte con absoluta certeza (excepto tío Enrique) que esos son los nombres exactos de mis tías, pues desde niños nos acostumbramos a llamarlas por esos nombres y no te puedo decir los nombres oficiales ahora. Tendría que consultar con mis hermanas que tienen mejor registro del asunto. Sé de un tío-abuelo a quien llamaban Malungo y a quien conocí personalmente. Cuando yo nací, 1958, ya mi abuelo Francisco Juvier había fallecido, pero sí conocí Con mi Papá, Luis Guerra Gómez (quien vive en Camagüey), mi Mamá tuvo cinco hijos: Luis (Milven), Caridad (Lety), Ramón (Chiqui), Teresa (Tere), y quien escribe, Fidel (Fide). Además, tengo dos hermanas: Elaine (Laly) y María Irene (Mari, o Marir Milven vive en Salt Lake City, en Utah, Laly en Washington DC, y yo en Nashville, Tennessee. El resto vive en Cuba (unos en la ciudad de Camagüey), y otros en Ciudad de la Habana. Tengo una cantidad incontable de primos a muchos de los cuales no conozco... ni de nombre. La rama que se desarrolló en US y Canadá (de la cual sé por Tony Toledo), viene por una tía-abuela quien vivió en New York, probablemente a finales de la década del veinte, del siglo pasa Los primos en primer grado con quienes he tenido relación más directa son: Orestes Marín y Orlando Marín hijos de tía Yeyin. Enrique Juvier Requena (Paco) hijo de tío Enrique. De este tío mío se dice tuvo una cantidad desconocida de hijos, y por esa vía sé de unos tres o cuatro que alguna vez conocí personalmente... pero he oído que eran mucho más, probablemente diez hijos.
