In the Stonington Baptist Records for 1772-1848 I found references to my ggg grandmother Susannah Harvey as well as William Spencer was is buried close to my gg grandfather, Joseph Loomer Thompson. This makes me think that maybe Joseph was a Baptist. Question: Are there any other Baptist Churches in New London Co in the late 1700s and early 1800s besides the Stonington Church?
