Kevin, Thanks for the note. Wow, I was looking in CT for Gilbert Brown (the Brown genealogy says he died in 1841 but doesn't say where) and was coming up blank. Would you have any idea where abouts in PA Gilbert Brown died or lived? Could it be in the north central part of PA. I have a lead on some Thompsons from Stonington that moved there and am trying to make the connection to Joseph Loomer Thompson. I will see if I can get a hold of the Gallup genealogy and see if there are any Thompson connections in there. The Cogswells also tie in with my Thompsons as well, so there is a double 'whammy' here.
