Hi List, Looking for any information on the Perkins family that lived at 189 Jerry Brown Road (could be Drive, Lane)living in Stonington, CT anytime. I have checked the census and can not find anyone at that address. There are plenty for the Stonington, North Stonington area. Maybe it could be a different name in the early times? Reason is, a company from WI wants to demolish the house and put up a 4 story motel, indoor waterpark and a retirement home on the property. This will kill the areas great looks and bring traffic to a very rural area. There will be a town meeting on May 19 to voice our opions, objections. I was thinking that maybe it can be resored as this area was setteled in the 1600's. I will be in touch with the historical society, they have not voiced their thoughs on the matter. It would be a shame to loose over 200 acres. Anyother ideas appreciated..... Tom
