I would like to know more about your Lucy Lampere by any spelling . Do you know of a Joseph Lamphere ? I'm sure if we go back or forward far enough we will find out that they are connected . They tended to have very large families in those days so there were a lot of cousins . My Lucy was only about 14 when she married Josheph Lamphere so she had to have been born abt. 1846 so all we need to do is to fill in the space leading Joseph up to 1860. I do believe that he was born in Westerly RI . Thats all for now . Harris born Dec 6, 1741. Lucy's mother's name was Mary and her father was Soloman Lanphere. I have alot of info on the Harris family. Nothing more on Lucy Lanphear. LAMPHERE seemed to be the New London spelling; in RI I think Lanphere, Lanphear, Landfear, etc. was used. My Lamphere connection is in Waterford, between New London and East Lyme (Niantic). Can you provide any dates for your people?
