I am doing some research on the Whipple family, my husband's relatives. I have gotten to the following on the 1850 census in Stonington William Whipple 65 laborer Nancy Whipple 53 Sarah A. 16 Erastus L.? 12 Charles W. 7 Erastus is the Whipple which leads to my husband's family. Does any one know anything about William or his wife before 1850. There are Whipples in earlier census, Rebekah, Mercy and Joseph, but I can't tell if they are connected. Thanks.
