Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/an/XZ.2ADE/1425 Message Board Post: Looking for any old photos, advertisements or any P. R. about my Grandmother who was a local Musician in New London ( and possibly the surrounding areas) in the late 1930's and up until her death in 1945. She would have played the piano and the accordion in nightclubs, hotels, and bars either with a band or as a solo act. She was described as a talented accordionist who also gave piano lessons. The name "LILA" was written in glittering letters on the front of her accordion. Her name was: LILA DERLIEN I live in WI and would appreciate any help in finding out if there is any old P.R. that can still be found about my Grandmother's musical "gigs" in those pre war and war years. Thank you, Lois
