I am wondering is you'd be willing to check this obituary and any other sources you may have for pertinent information. I have been searching for my great-great-grandfather, James Henry Gillon, Sr.. JHGSr. was born in Connecticut (we believe in Norwich) about 1825. In 1848 he marries in Bibb Co., Ga. He appears in DeKalb Co. Ga. in the 1850 census as a railroad engineer. By 1860, he is back in Bibb Co. working for the Burnswick and Macon line. He dies in January 1865. All of his male children and most of his male grandchildren are associated with the railroads. Just hoping. Thanks in advance for your assistance. --John Gillon
