I think he was born in Norwich, New London County, Connecticut. His parents, Harvey Warren MacFarland and Adelaide Elizabeth Hillman MacFarland worked for Norwich State Hospital and resided there. According to my family, My grandfather lived in a boarding house and saw his parents on weekends. Harvey Warren MacFarland was born in Jersey City, New Jersey. Adelaide Elizabeth Hillman was born in England. They were married in New York. Any information on these families is welcome.
