May have served in the Westchester County, Province of New York State Militia in 1760. First wife Hannah believed to be daughter of David Palmer of Greenwich. John Utter had land transactions with this David Palmer family in early 1750's which stop prior to 1755 which may be when Hannah died. May be the John Utter that married second? wife Mary Rusco in 1755 according to Stamford County marriage records. Anyone who has New London County/Preston info on this John Utter or knows of surviving UTter church records pertaining to his UTter please contact me.
