Murphy b. 1845 in Ireland and his wife Mary O'Day b. 1854 St.Albans VT. They were married abt 1873 in ST.Albans, and had four children there. Margaret b.1876 (md William Malone) "May" Mary Agnes b.1877 (md Leverett M. Clark) Alice Theresa b.1879 Patrick J. b. abt 1880 They moved to Willimantic, Windham Co., CT between 1881 and 1885. They then had four more children Benjamin b. abt 1884 (he became a lawyer and had his practice in Worcester, MA. for many years) Anne Claire b 1885 (md, George Hourigan) John F. b.1887 d. 1948 North Adams, MA (either John or Benjamin had a son, Richard) Arthur Francis b. 1895 Patrick Sr. d. 1898, Mary O'day Murphy d. 1897, Willimantic,CT.
