The Bentley Family DNA Project is progressing with nine members. At present test results indicate that three members descend from William Bentley of Ampthill, England and Kings Towne, RI. Two members descend from an ancestor with descendants who settled in Letcher Co. KY and one member is of unknown ancestry. Three persons have submitted samples but the results have not been received. Several others are in the process of ordering sample kits.
