They raised a family in Windham/Tolland County, Ct. I am wondering if he is a son of Abel Sholes b. April 15, 1735? Another reseacher sent me a ancestor sheet with this info. on it: Abel Sholes b.april 15, 1735 Groton, d. Oct 4, 1789 Groton, Ct. son of John and Lydia(Bailey)Sholes. Abel mar. 1)Anna Minard, dau. of John Minard 2)Lucy Stanton dau. of Thomas and Lucy (Bailey) Stanton. Children listed for Abel & (which wife?) Minard b. Dec 13 1760 mar Abigail Chappell, Nathan b.? mar Susannah Widger, Richard b. 1761 mar. Sarah? then is listed Abel b? d? mar Polly ? Nothing else at all. I am hoping someone else who is researching or has researched this family could tell me if my Abial fits here. Going on 15 years of searching.
