NEHGS published a correction to the John Hempsted list published in The Register [126:255-6] which corrects the names of the Rogers-Minor marriage. Davis [not David] Rogers married Hannah Minor, daughter of John Minor on Aug 21, 1774. The correct names are also found in the James Rogers of New London book. Unfortunately, my printed copy does not indicate the page of the correction in The Register. Thank you also for the hint about the widow of John Prentiss being the mother of Hannah.
