Dear Listers, A statement regarding the death and burial of John Post (1629-1711) from: "Hyde Genealogy: The descendants in the female as well as the male lines: from William Hyde of Norwich, with their places of residences, and dates of births, marriages, etc. and other particulars of them and their families and ancestry" by Reuben H. Walworth; 1:4; J. Munsell and Sons; Albany, New York (HeritageQuest) says,. in part, "(John Post) . . .and is buried in he old cemetery near the churcch in Norwich". I have checked New London, Connecticut Cemeteries on Rootsweb, but do not find him or his wife listed. I assume she was buried in the same cemetery as she pre-deceased her husband.
