I've "rescued" an old photograph of Helen E. COYLE which was taken at the Durgan Studio in Norwich, Connecticut. The photograph was probably taken sometime in the 1880's with Helen looking to be about 3-4 years old at the time. In addition to her name someone has written "Daughter of George COYLE and Alice M. THOMPSON COYLE" on the back of the photograph. Based on limited research I did find Alice M. THOMPSON living with her Uncle Martin B. THOMPSON and Aunt Angeline A. THOMPSON in East Lyme, CT during the 1880 census. Alice was age 20 at the time, born in CT to CT born parents. Her Uncle Martin was age 44, born in CT, a Machinist whose parents were also born in CT. Aunt Angeline was age 42, born in CT with parents also born in CT. I'm hoping to locate someone from Helen's family so that this wonderful old treasure can be returned to its rightful place with family. If you are a member of this family, or know someone who might be, please contact me. Thanks, Shelley
