Lilya (Glans), born 1866, died 1926...all from Sweden to Meriden, Ct. Some of his children may have gone to Groton, Ct. Children of Ernest were Eric. E of Meriden, and Ermin A. of Fairfield, Ct. Ernest's grandchildren in 1939 were Judith B. Lilya of Fairfield and E. PArker Lilya (wife Claudia) of Meriden. PArker is listed in the city directory until 1908. His children are Deborah and Michael. I have received a letter from Roland Lilja of Sweden, who is related to Carl A. Lija (liya), b. 1867. Roland and his wife have Lilja(Lilya) family history back to the 1600s. Christine Glans is my great aunt.
