I am reseraching my g-g-g grandfather, William Gale Johnson. He owned the Johnson Dye Works in Uncasville, Connecticut. William died in 1892. Does anyone know anything about William's house in Uncasville. It was called "Hillcrest"? I understand the home was restored in the early 1990's. I read where it was referred to as "an unusual style of architecture & sometimes was described as an English Manor house."
