Deborah, I do have some information about my Azariah Lo/Lathrop in CT (he was born there in 1754). He married Mercy Bennet in 1779. After the Revolution they moved to NY. I have him in Chenango county, Onondaga county, and finally dying in Madison County in 1808. They had 5 children: Elisha, Polly, Sally, Azariah Allen--my line--and Elijah. What I would like to have is proof of the actual death date, place in Madison county. My records say Mercy also died in 1808 in Madison county, but no further details. The details are what I am looking for. As an aside: The Lovejoy name appears in my birth county of Bureau County, Illinois (Princeton). He was a minister and performed the marriage ceremony for my greatgreat grandparents Charles Wesley Lathrop and Clarissa Smith in 1851. The Lovejoy home was a stop on the Underground Railroad during the Civil War. I also remember reading of Lovejoys in the New York areas where my Lathrops resided.
